Author Processing Fees

Boston Research Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities is a globally acknowledged journal. It publishes double-blinded, peer-reviewed, and original research papers, including all the scopes of social sciences, humanities and more.

We have offered remarkable developments in the fields of social sciences and are globally acclaimed. We welcome all the original research papers and articles, which can be theoretical, applied, empirical, case-based, or policy-oriented in all areas of humanities and social sciences.

Journal's publication fees – including the cost of peer review management, journal production, distribution, print copy, and online hosting and archiving. Publication fees vary by journal, country, funding source and are payable upon article acceptance. Fees are subject to change and charged at the applicable rates effective on your submission date.

What does an APC cover?

Permanent, immediate, and worldwide access to the full article text the APC covers:

• Editorial work: peer review, administrative support, commissioning content, journal development.
• Technical infrastructure and innovation: development, maintenance and operation of online journal system and websites.
• Production of articles: formatting and mark-up of articles and inclusion in indexing services
• Marketing of journal and content: making sure readers and authors know about the work published in the title
• Customer service: responding to authors and readers
• Print copy: One print copy with international shipping to corresponding author

 

The pricing listed covers a manuscript up to 70 pages. BRJ will charge additional fees of $5 USD per page for any manuscript exceeding 70 pages.

When are payments required?

Authors only pay the APC once the manuscript is accepted for publication. That means, for submission of manuscript and review process, authors do not have to pay the fees upfront.

Institutional Access Funds

Many institutions already support their researchers by setting aside financial resources to cover or reduce the cost of their Open Access publications.

We provide discounts to authors whose universities or organizations are partners with Boston Research Journals. Authors can encourage their universities and institutions to become our partners for flat fees.

Funder Fee Support

More and more funders are encouraging researchers to publish in Open Access journals where their work can be read and shared by all. Contact your funder directly to find out if they allow fees to be included as line items on a grant or provide specific article processing grants. If it is required to submit any document or compliance from our end, let us know.

Crowdfunding Support
