Dr. Anupama L currently serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Iqbal College, Peringammala, and is an approved Research Supervisor under the University of Kerala. A native of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, she obtained her Ph.D. with UGC Research Fellowship from the Institute of English, University of Kerala, specializing in Muslim women’s writing. She holds an M.Phil in English from University College, Thiruvananthapuram. Her academic interests encompass feminist literary criticism, diaspora studies, identity, ethnicity, and religious discourse. She is the author of Wings of Courage: Feminist Consciousness in the Select Texts of Buchi Emecheta and Flora Nwapa (2019), and has contributed research articles to several peer-reviewed international journals and edited volumes. Prior to her current appointment, she served as Assistant Professor (on contract) at All Saints’ College, Thiruvananthapuram (2017–2020).
