Laureate Email & Google Drive Policy
The terms for your BRJ membership email account and included Google Drive storage.

Two years from activation. Personal and academic use only. No commercial use. 2 GB of Google Drive storage.
Account term and eligibility
This policy applies to the email account and Google Drive access issued by Boston Research Journals (BRJ) to an individual Distinguished Laureate of the Social Sciences or Medical Sciences Consortium. The account expires two years after activation. Refer to your account activation notice for the activation and expiry dates. The email account term is separate from the duration of your laureate distinction; continued membership does not automatically extend the account.
Personal and academic use only
Use the account only for your own personal correspondence and non-commercial academic activities, including research collaboration, teaching, scholarly discussion, and manuscript correspondence. Commercial use is prohibited, including running a business, selling or advertising products or services, paid consultancy, client work, sales outreach, and commercial mailing campaigns. Academic subject matter does not make a commercial activity permissible.
Google Drive storage
Each account includes 2 GB of Google Drive storage for permitted personal and academic files. Keep your files within this allocation and maintain your own backups. This benefit does not include unlimited storage or an entitlement to additional Google services or paid upgrades.
Account security and prohibited conduct
The account is assigned to you individually. Do not share credentials, transfer or resell access, or allow another person to use your account. Use a strong, unique password and enable two-step verification where available. Spam, phishing, fraud, harassment, malware, unlawful content, infringement of others’ rights, and attempts to bypass security or storage limits are prohibited. Do not imply that your messages represent or bind BRJ without authorization.
Expiry and your files
Access to the email account and its associated Google Drive ends at expiry. Before then, export the messages and files you are entitled to retain, update contacts, and change any sign-in or recovery details that depend on the address. Do not rely on continued access, email forwarding, or data recovery after expiry. Contact BRJ before the expiry date with any access or export questions; renewal is not automatic.
Compliance and account administration
You must comply with this policy, BRJ’s Terms and Conditions, applicable law, and the applicable Google service terms and acceptable use rules. BRJ administers the account and may restrict, suspend, or terminate access for misuse, a security risk, or a breach of these requirements, including before the two-year term ends. Information is handled under BRJ’s Privacy Policy and applicable provider terms. Report suspected compromise or misuse promptly to BRJ support.
